Who keeps saying and repeating that words are interpreted in so many different ways should speak up because I see so many people who are not aware of this situation and who should hear those words. Further more, they don't even read or listen carefully, but jump to interpretation or completion. Although I realize it's part of our nature, it still irritates me.
I guess it all comes from the same self-centredness. The same preoccupation of the self that makes people want to talk only about themselves, that want to impress the others, that want to raise their status. We are in a continuous race for recognition and the more we need it, the wider becomes the array of behaviours we employ in order to obtain that recognition. Only self-consciousness can help it, if it's present.
